2005: A year in cities

Taking a cue from Kottke I decided to participate in a meme of the cities I visited in 2005:
Osaka
Kobe *
Kyoto *
Nara
Nagoya
Matsuyama
Wow. That`s a lot less than I orginally envisioned before I started this entry. I`ve been to Kobe and Kyoto more than once (as they`re right next to where I live - Osaka). Cunningly enough they are all in Japan. You didn`t see that one coming did you?
What are the cities you visited in 2005?

It depends on exactly what you count as a city - I mostly visited small towns on a trip to Umbria - but apart from the one I live in (Brussels): London, Kyoto, Nara, Nagoya, Kamakura, Tokyo, Seoul, Perugia, Orvieto, Urbino, Tallinn, Helsinki, Riga, Vilnius and Funchal. Since you asked!

I can’t even really remember where i went last year X.X
I only remember the two major places being Liverpool and Cardiff. Pretty sure i went to London, Newcastle, Leeds. But Newcastle may have been 2004 O.o. I know i went on holiday abroad somewhere but i can’t remember where.
Clearly my mind has gone O.O

Simon, I like your blog, it goes back a long way.
Where did I go in 2005 …
Osaka mostly, as I live there too and lot of other places near Osaka. In fact my list looks quite a lot like yours, arrived in Japan June 2004, my wife’s mother is called Reiko, that kind of thing. Where do the English teechers hang out in Osaka? I don’t know many gaijin.
P.S. my home page …
