My teaching high lasts from my best class 6 thursday evening to my 5 worst classes 9 friday morning

I went to see J-Pop Band Sukima Switch with Reiko’s sister yesterday in their arena tour. It was my first time at a Japanese group’s gig in Japan and I enjoyed it.

The actions of the fans were notable. For the up-tempo songs, every person would clap one particular way for the verses, when it got to the chorus they’d double the speed. When it came back to the verse they’d slow down again. This happened for nearly every song. I was surprised at the rigid formality of the fans.

Still, they were all having a good time. Some fans tried to do double speed whenever they wanted but were quickly forced to adopt by the thousands of others keeping in time with each other.

Off to see Sukima Suichi.

Had a father and daughter day in Namba today. Six hours of total responsibility for my child. And I didn`t kill her!

Just to warn you you should start seeing lots of short posts on this site from now on. This will be in addition to the normal longer ones. I found a wordpress plugin from The Life of Leo which puts all the tweets I put out on twitter onto this blog too.

The point of using twitter in the first place was to get more of what I am doing and where I’m doing it out there. This just consolidates it into one place. And gets this blog updated more regularly.
