Animals. They are animals.

It was my second day today. I was teaching fifth graders who are 11 years old and like wild animals when they are unleashed. They prod, steal and run about but the lessons involving numbers all went really well. I was shouting, gesticulating and generally having a good time again. Instead of a tambourine this time, I got to play with a whistle, a fluffy football and some large fluffy dice which was almost as much fun. The lessons at a different school about countries in the afternoon didn`t go as well but were still enjoyable and I was sorry when they finished. Packing my things at the end of the lesson and moving from school to school and I felt like a travelling circus, selling my wares and performances to whoever would take interest in them. I had and still have a sore throat from Friday`s lessons and a continuous thirst - Speaking loudly and clearly is an alien concept to me and my mumblings and speaking in front of thirty five to forty people is daunting yet giving me new found confidence in my abilities. Yay.
