My Christmas present from Reiko was a mountain bike which I could choose. The other day we went to a bicycle shop and bought one. I love it. I love cycling. It`s far preferable to walking as you can get to places further away quicker. I love the feeling of going almost wherever you want under your own power. It gives you a tremendous sense of freedom.

I had to get a bike as the previous bike I was using was pink, belonged to Reiko`s sister and incidentally I parked it in a place it wasn`t supposed to be and it was appropriated by the Nazi bicycle parking police.

This time I have bought a set of tickets which give me entrance into a dedicated bicycle parking lot patrolled by a veritable Dad`s Army of attendants.

That is awesome. I am totally with you on loving to bike. My favorite pastime is riding around to new places and taking pictures :)
