Something`s afoot at the Bikkuri Donkey beefburger chain restaurant where the mantra, “Employees are your number one asset” seems to have passed this company by.

‘Stuff only’, huh? If that’s the case, that room is severely empty. It needs to be filled from floor to ceiling with a dizzying assortment of random crap. Planks of wood, old eight-track tapes, garbage bags (filled as well as empty), ball bearings, dentures, etc etc.

Tell those concerned at Bikkuri Donkey they need to really start filling that room, or you’ll have them all sacked.

One time I came out of a McDonald’s bathroom in Kyoto and a 18 year old Japanese guy almost bumped into me trying to walk in. Shocked at seeing a white dude, he said to himself “Ohhh, bikkuri! Bikkuri Donkey!” and walked past me.

I have never eaten at one of those restaurants, so to this day I associate that name with running into dudes in the bathroom.
