Dentist

After reporting that I rarely took a bath last year I must regrettably inform you I haven`t been to a dentist since I was 16 and am loathe to go in a foreign country whose occupants make the malformed English smile look like a row of pearly whites.

Any (ex)-expats have any recommendations/stories about dentists in Japan?

I’ve never had any problems with dentists in Japan. And, because of the national health insurance, it’s damn cheap! Here’s a list of medical facilties, including dental clinics, in Osaka where English is supposedly spoken:

They do a darn good job, but take an age to do it. My girlfriend used to go every Saturday for months and months before her treatment came to an end - I think it was only a couple of fillings and some cleaning she was having done. It would probably have been done in one sitting in England!
      Good luck!

I’m tempted to ask if those are dentures…

Dude, you better get them teeth fixed real quick like…you’re beginning to look like the poster boy for British mongrels!

I`m sure you`re aware but the picture is the legendary Shawn Macgowan not me. :)
