End

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

It is almost the end of the first school term here in Japan and so the ten lessons I do at the nine schools are wrapping up. Some of the schools have presented me with kanji-laden messages of thanks from the kids with group photos and the like and I`ll try and put some of these up when I figure out how to use the scanner.

It`s an interesting comparison between the schools I visit who give me presents and the evening school I teach at where the kids (if not actually hating me) will squirm and sit in poker faced silence even if I use the same style and jokes. Teaching at the schools is on the whole intensely enjoyable and rewarding and even if I work for the most amateurish company in the world, if this ends I will deeply miss it.
