Happy sixth graders. Incredible.

Today I was at a school so far away that I would have had to get a train at 7:20 in the morning to get there. Fortunately, there is a quicker and cheaper way to get there meaning I got a train at 8:20. This still meant a twenty minute sprint from my house to the station in the morning.
The lessons went well especially the second one where I taught Countries to twelve year olds who found my jokes funny and my lessons informative and entertaining and even though they were sixth graders, still wanted to learn. Incredible. I also saw the scrawl of my arch nemesis
BOB on their name tags. After doing some subtle digging about the character of Herr BOB, I have found out he is in his mid thirties, enjoys eating chalk to impress children and wants to be a dancer. I wouldn` t let him near my children. Chalk eating freak.
In the afternoon I taught my favourite lesson of Numbers to fifth graders. I love this lesson. It is fun, varied and every single class I have taught it to have enjoyed it without exception. It was a good way to end a week.
