Today is the Harvest Moon where people in Japan drink sake and read haiku (5-7-5) they’ve composed under the moonlight.

I on the other hand stayed at home, drank a beer and came up with this:

September full moon
Summertime has now ended
About bloody time

Any other offerings?

in singapore, we call it the Mooncake festival - based on a legendary myth of a seperated couple (between an mortal & rabbit spirit?).. i ain’t even sure myself, but we eat tons of mooncakes here, sip chinese tea & kids play with lanterns.

I just finished reading all the entries on your blog :)
