Partly inspired by Lomo Love, I recently bought a HOLGA Lomo film camera and have been having lots of fun around Osaka with it.
Its lens is made of plastic which means pictures can suffer from poor focus or darkening around the edges (known as vignetting. What it also means is you can take any old normal shot and these drawbacks can instantly bring a certain character to the shot. As Doktor Williams says, “Ooh arty!”
The picture above is the famous crab above the crab shop in Shinsaibashi Osaka - a popular tourist destination in Osaka.
