As I’ve said before, when you’re sick in Japan, you sure get a lot of medicine.

      Looking at all those drugs, I’m guessing you’ve got a slight cold. Maybe you even sneezed once.

      You know that’s the one thing I don’t like about health care in Taiwan. The public insurance is great, and you can see a doctor for just $3US, but they go ape-shit prescribing drugs! Last time I had a minor problem, I ended up with antihistamines, antibiotics, two other drugs I couldn’t quite identify, and a fifth one to keep my stomach from being upset by the other four!

      No wonder liver failure is so common in Asia.

      Hey, looks like you got some kanpo: traditional chinese holistic medicine. My fiancee was given that to help her PMS when she was in Japan.
