I got this amazing email the other day from a German bloke.

I am a 25 year old student from Germany. My girlfriend is Japanese and is living in Izumi City too. I met her a year ago in Buenos Aires in Argentina where we passed an exchange semester at the university together. Well I fell in love with her and since that time we passed our relationship in distance. I’m going to visit her in August for two months and I was searching just information about Osaka and Izumi in general. Then I found your web-blog and it was just amazing because it provided very useful information and interesting details. Of course I was astonished that you are living there for more than a year and that you are talking German fluently [err...]. (my English is pretty bad).

Probably the most interesting thing is that you managed to live in Japan with your girlfriend, exactly what I want to do in future. One could say that you are the living proof that it could work with me too, because I was also planning to live with her in Japan too.

Well I was hit back by this email. He asked for some advice about working and studying in Japan and Osaka which I gave him and we`re going to meet when he comes here in August. It was just a nice story with parallels to my own. It`ll be fun to meet him.
