No Spitting

This was found on the tram in Hong Kong and was another shock for me after Japan. Also bewildering were the peanut shells tossed nonchalantly on the floor in the pubs in Hong Kong.
A friend who lived in Mexico said they allow it there as the more shells there are on the floor, the more popular the pub is seen to be. I`m glad nobody spat whilst I was on the tram.

I like the drawing on the far right at the top of your page.
Good luck in Japan.

Alas they change every time. I wonder what it was.

in Singapore, the only pub you can throw peanut shells on the ground is the Long Bar at Raffles Hotel.

Hi, I am a Junpei (Japanese) woman living in Hong Kong.
I have never seen somebody spit on the trum or other places.
But I can see many people spitting on the street in Shenzhen.
Sometimes they blow nose with one finger very quickly without tissue papers. Do you believe it?
