pachinko addict

This is when I introduced my parents to the wonderful art of Pachinko AKA pinball gambling. Look at the glazed eyes, indifferent expressions and untraceable hand trembling withdrawal symptoms.

I promise I haven`t gone 100% photoblog. I have been incredibly busy these last few days. I`m running out of pictures to post here (Donations accepted via Paypal account on bottom left towards Windows XP Desktop computer for USB compatibility?)

I took a tour Thursday of the nine schools I will be teaching 12 year olds English at for the next nine months. They are about a 45 minute train journey away from where I live but all really close to each other when you finally get there. Lessons include introducing yourself, describing your pets and numbers to 30. I have to plan (entertaining) lessons for all of these. Any help?

Today is the beginning of the seven day Golden Week national Holiday which apart from Monday is a day off for everyone until next Thursday. The temperature has soared from necessitating two duvets in winter to now requiring none at night. It averages about 25 degrees every day with high humidity. I like air conditioners…

LOL - “the glazed eyes, indifferent expressions and untraceable hand trembling withdrawal symptoms” - perfect description of a pachinko player! If only the picture could protray the noise of the place too.
