Futher to the sexual harassment I received previously in the form of Kancho, I was subjected today to the indignation of having my trousers pulled down by a girl student at the school I taught at. It was Valentine`s Day if that had anything to do with it.

The school this happened at is one of the worst schools I`ve been to and seeing we`re at the end of the school year (Japanese schools go from April to March) they`ve lost all care about learning and seem intent on causing as much chaos as possible before they move on to Junior High School.

One of them asked me in Japanese if I was embarassed. I replied to them in English that you can`t do that to a teacher with as menacing a frown as I could muster - ie. not very menacing. I replayed that situation in my mind once out of the school but in that version I vowed to find out where they lived and burn their house down.

I`ve lost count of the number of times I`ve wished them and the Wednesday children`s class at the evening school I teach at a slow and painful death. Knowing that the majority of them will grow up to fill dead end jobs like Mcdonalds and prostitutes helps ease the torment slightly.
