I just got a working holiday visa and came to Japan to try and get a job over here but it is far easier to apply and get accepted abroad by a reputable English school. There are many, many, many Westerners over here and so it can be quite hard to get a job when you are repeatedly up against people with fifteen years teaching experience in Japanese schools as I was. Although I was slightly lazy, it still took me four months to get a job. I am sure the only reason I got my job was that I was the only one to apply for it…
